As employees, we spend more time and energy on work than other aspects of our lives. We also spend more time with coworkers than anyone else. Yet, surprisingly, people are less likely to feel or express gratitude in the workplace than anywhere else.

Most people feel better when they thank someone at work, yet few actually do this regularly. Why is that? And what are the benefits of thanking your colleagues?
